MicroDocs CTO Hendrik Höfer, who is now one of the coopted directors said: "It is amazing to see what traction the LBCN created over the last year and how many renowed companies are actively working on making Open Source an even bigger success. Broadening the scope from Linux to Open Source in general and to work as a foundation rather than an association was the next logical step."
