Our Expertise

MicroDoc has a long standing history in embedded systems. MicroDoc started building data acquisition and image processing systems for Raster tunneling microscopes. Our first product was a high performance histological analysis system for HIV research called SNAP, that also yielded a European patent sponsored by Fraunhofer Gesellschaft.

In 2000 MicroDoc became the first European OEM and Porting partner for IBMs embedded Java product line.

Today MicroDoc's expertise is building and licensing Java(TM) based products for various industries and problem domains. MicroDoc engineers have a deep understanding of operating systems, hardware architectures and specific business requirements like 24/7 operations and remote update. Our solution portfolio contains

  • customized and certified virtual machines and class libraries for your operating system and hardware
  • telematic solutions based on industry standards like OSGi(TM)
  • logistic systems for supply chain management and stock keeping
  • self service systems
  • Open Source solutions like Eclipse eRCP
  • Software QA and reviews

Over the last years we worked with companies from various industries and gained a deep understanding of their specific requirements and procedures.

  • Airline
  • Automotive
  • Telecommunications
  • Multimedia & Entertainment
  • Conditional access

We highly respect the confidentiality needs of our customers in these competitive and partially security sensitive markets.
