The WEME products are JavaME(TM) compliant and are entitled to carry the "Java Powered" logo of Sun Microsystems. Please note that JavaME configurations need to comply strictly with the specification set out by the JCP (Java Comunity Process) and may not be subsetted or extended.
We offer "Lotus Expeditor Client for Devices" - a rich client platform for mobile devices. It includes a WECE runtime (IBM WebSphere Everyplace Custom Envirponment) with a special configuration called "jclDevice" and a huge variety of additional components to help you build and maintain mobile applications:
The OSGi framework specification describes a service-oriented, dynamic component model for Java. The framework manages the lifecycle and interaction of its components. In OSGi terms, components are also called "bundles".Bundles can be started and stopped, installed, and updated.
Lotus Expeditor for Devices is currently available for Windows Mobile 5 & 6 as well as for WinCE 5.0 Professional on ARM/XScale.
