Software licensing
MicroDoc supports industry programs against software fraud. If you use any MicroDoc software, you need to have a valid license. The following sections contains terms and conditions for MicroDoc standard licensing:

MicroDoc free software license
This license applies to MicroDoc software that is marked as "free software" on this website or marked as "free software" on any other distribution medium you obtain from MicroDoc.

1. The user accepts MicroDoc's property- and copyrights for the free software and confirms that you will not infringe these rights.
2. MicroDoc grants the user a worldwide, non-exclusive right to use, change and duplicate the software for his/her own purpose. Redistribution of the software, or of other software containing the free software, is not allowed. Direct others to MicroDoc if they need to obtain their own copies of the free software.
3. The user is not allowed to remove copyright notices from the free software.
4. Due to the non-commercial character of the software, there is no warranty for free software. MicroDoc will not be liable for direct or indirect damage of any kind caused by the use of the free software. If the free software infringes copyrights or other property rights of third parties, the user will not direct claims of such parties to MicroDoc, but the user will be liable for the use of the free software himself/herself. In case of a claim the user will immediately inform MicroDoc about the nature of the infringement and the alleged owner of the copyright. If such waiver is illegal in your country, you are not allowed to use the free software at all.
5. The distribution of the free software through MicroDoc may be stopped at any time without notice.
6. The term "software" used in this license agreement is used to denote software and documentation for the software.

MicroDoc evaluation software license
Unless you receive a special evaluation agreement with the evaluation software, the following terms and conditions apply to all MicroDoc software marked as "evaluation software".

1. The user accepts MicroDoc's property- and copyrights for the free software and confirms that you will not infringe upon these rights.
2. MicroDoc grants the user a worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the evaluation software for the sole purpose of evaluation of the software functionality and structure, as far as it is exposed.
3. The user is not allowed to disassemble reverse-engineer or otherwise deconstruct the software.
4. The user is not allowed to pass the software to third parties or to publish any information about the software of its structure to third parties.
5. The user is not allowed to remove copyright notices from the evaluation software.
6. Due to the character of the software license, there is no warranty for evaluation software. MicroDoc will not be liable for any sort of direct or indirect damage of any kind caused by the use of the evaluation software. If the evaluation software infringes copyrights or other property rights of third parties, the user will not direct claims of such parties to MicroDoc, but the user will be liable for the use of the evaluation software himself/herself. In case of a claim the user will immediately inform MicroDoc about the nature of the infringement and the supposed owner of the copyright. If such waiver is illegal in your country, you are not allowed to use the evaluation software at all.
7. The evaluation period is 30 days unless otherwise noted. MicroDoc is free to terminate the evaluation period at any time without prior notice.
8. Upon the termination of the evaluation period, the user must delete all his/her copies of the evaluation software or return the software to MicroDoc.
9. If the evaluation software is not returned or destroyed in time, MicroDoc is entitled to charge a full site license of the evaluation software.
10. The distribution of the evaluation software through MicroDoc may be stopped without notice at any time.
11. The term "software" used in this license agreement is used to denote software and documentation for the software.
